Firstly; the customer service is amazing, and shipping was lightning fast. I ordered these on a Monday and they arrived on Thursday ( and I live in the States!)
The boilersuit itself? The stuff of dreams. Much less of an electric bubblegum pink as I thought from the photos but it's quite a lovely, somewhat cooler shade that suits me better!
I wish the fabric was a little thicker/heavier but otherwise the fit is spot on; fitted wear it should be and slouchy without being sloppy.
For reference I'm a US 14/16 and got these in an XL
First purchase here, but won't be my last :)
I’m loving it so much! I kinda just wanna wear it everyday and I’ve gotten so many compliments of it, so it looks cute but it’s also really comfy
I am really in love with this boilersuit, I've received so many compliments on it, the colour is so beautiful and uplifting, and the shade is just perfect even though I was worried that it wouldn't suit me. The only reason I cannot leave a 5 star review is because the button holes are really weak, even after the second wear all of them started ripping even though I've been really careful with them. I feel like more attention should be payed to the buttons as it is a boilersuit and the buttons are very necessary. Otherwise, it's a really amazing piece of clothing, it's just the button holes really need to be improved.
I've been on the lookout for pink boilersuit for the longest time, but had no luck until my friend showed me this site and I fell in love.
Keep an eye on the 'last chance to buy' section, especially as a first time buyer. I got the pink frankie boiler-suit, and it is SUPER comfortable! I got the small (size 8-10), and I'm just 5"1, so I was worried it would be either too long or too big for my size. It's just baggy enough that you don't have an awful time taking it on and off (like with jumpsuits), and the elastic waist is perfect and doesn't dig in. It was a little long on the legs but I expected that, and you can easily roll these up. The pockets are a good size (nice and big) and you honestly feel like you stepped out of 90s MTV dance-a-ton, it's so snug! I don't usually wear a lot of pink, but since this is a lovely darker shade, it'll suit your skin tone and don't drown you out. It's a piece you can sit on when you feel lazy or want to dress up, it's a staple piece in anyone's wardrobe.
+I ordered mine on a Friday, and it got sent out the following Monday. It took little over a week to arrive.
+I was nicely surprised to see it's sent in a biodegradable package, and sealed in a cute drawstring bag!
+Includes a guide on how to wash (a cold wash/30 degrees as its hand dyed), which is extremely helpful for first time buyers who haven't had experience in ethical clothing before.
If you're waiting to take the plunge into more ethical, loner lasting pieces, lucy&yak is a purchase you won't regret!
Love my new red oversized corduroy coveralls..just what I hoped for!
