About the Artist

My name is Deycha. I am a Black, Queer, Femme, artist based in Seattle, WA. I was born and raised in Washington, D.C. to a fierce Black woman who comes from a legacy of fiiierce black women. I am here because they lived.

I am a self taught artist specializing in dreamy, atmospheric abstract illustrations using digital technology, Acrylic and Watercolor. My blackness is an important and non-negotiable aspect of my artistry.

Black joy, Black creativity and Black love, is resistance.
