Poppy Skirt: LENZING™ ECOVERO™ - Black

I've put off washing this skirt for ages as I read all the reviews about it shrinking. I have other viscose pieces in my closet and they are a bit high maintenance. I washed it in cold water, hung it to dry and reshaped it when it was wet (stretching it from all angles). It dried almost exactly how it was before washing but may need a little extra work. I've found a steamer works best on viscose to help stretch it out as well.

The fit and flowiness of the skirt are absolute 10/10 - and it can be washed of course, just be aware it needs a little extra attention :)

I sized down after my normal 3x was too big on me. I got the 2x and it was absolutely perfect! It was so flattering and I loved the slit. I hadn't even worn it and was planning to take it on vacation so I washed it to make sure there would be no dyes rubbing off. I washed it on cold and hung dry and the thing shriveled right up. Its all clingy and the flattering shape is gone. I stretched it out to dry, ironed, the whole deal but that perfect flattering shape is gone forever. I am so disappointed.

I bought in a ship before looking at reviews. It shrinks despite being on a delicate cold wash, and it needs loads of reshaping - it never looks as good as it did the first time I wore it, the slit it wider so I can’t wear it to work. Still looks nice but is high maintenance. Also struggle to wear chin rub shorts underneath due to the height of the slit.

I was worried the skirt wouldnt sit right because I'd usuallt go a size smaller and Im quite tall but it fits great! Feels really comfortable and flowy and has POCKETS 😍 Very pleased with my purchase

For my birthday I was treated to another Poppy skirt but in black this time. I love wearing this for work and making it look smart and dressing it down.
