Primal Suds - A Wash Revolution

We are so excited about our new skin care brand that we are stocking, here's more about their products in their own words:

Primal Tribe: Soaps

Rather than explaining all the horrible stuff we DON’T put in our soap, it’s probably just easier to tell you what we DO put in….

Coconut Oil: All of our soaps have a much higher percentage of coconut oil to the other oils, its sustainable, moisturising and nourishing on the skin, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.

Olive Oil: Moisturising and nourishing. An anti-oxidant. Where some other companies use palm oil, we don’t and won’t. We use Rapeseed oil instead and find its moisturising and lather properties kinder for you and the planet.
Shea Butter: Moisturising, hardens the bars making them last longer, stretching out your suds mate.

Clays & Charcoal: Absorbent qualities draw nasty stuff from skin. Naturally exfoliating, so there’s no need to push too hard. As with all charcoal products they may cause temporary bath smut…rinse and rub the tub and it goes away…like nothing ever happened.

Natural Essential Oils: All with different healthy properties, aromatherapeutic, revitalising and smell real good. (IF PREGGERS CONSULT DOCTOR BEFORE USING)

Natural Exfoliants: Oats, Chia, Tea, Hemp, Clay, Charcoal…these also naturally colour our soaps, in some cases we use Spirulina or Annatto seeds as we do not use any artificial colours….well we don’t use artificial anything.

Lye: Lye is Sodium Hydroxide, mixed with water to make an extremely alkaline solution, when added to the fats it undergoes the transformation into soap. Once the process is finished no lye remains in the finished product, it’s changed into soap. Without lye you can’t make soap but don’t worry, people been doing this donkeys years….it’s safe.

Our soap has a built in scrubbing qualities with the exfoliating ingredients, so no need to push too hard, let the suds do the work. For those with sensitive skin, apply with sponge, flannel or cloud emoji from iPhone.

All soaps 100% biodegradable, with all packaging compostable.

NO PLASTIC
ZERO WASTE
VEGAN
NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS!

All of our soap including all ingredients are cruelty free. We simply wouldn’t have that any other way…these practices shouldn’t even need to be spoken about, in our view they should be outlawed.

….In a nutshell what we are saying is our soap contains no parabens, SLS, DEA, FBI’s or ASAP’s it’s all natural, all handmade.

Head cave : Shampoo

Everybody wants natural shampoo bars, nobody wants a plastic bottle of shampoo, everybody wants salon fresh shiny looking healthy hair, like something from an episode of friends…..here’s the reality bomb…..the best possible thing you could do for healthy hair upkeep, is to not wash it…..but nobody wants that do they? The other end of the spectrum is using the billion dollar, chemically based, synthetics industry solution to hair care that’ll work for sure…..but I don’t think anybody that’s reading this wants that either?

Here at Primal Suds we’ve released HEAD CAVE to fill the void between “NOPOO” and “CHEMIPOO” its all natural, no colours and jam packed full of earthly compounds that benefit your mop top.

All of our shampoo bars contain the following:

Marshmallow Root, Jojoba Oil, Argan oil, Hemp oil, Caster oil, Avocado oil, Rice powder, Aloe Vera, Clays…..and individual bars contain other ingredients that’ll sort out your barnet, we threw everything at it!

As you’ll probably know if you’re changing your hair care to a natural route there’ll be a transition period where you may feel like it’s not working, although everybody will be diffo…..hang in there.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Lather up in hand then add suds to hair, don’t slap bar straight into hair as it contains lots of unsaponified oils that need a bit of sudsification before application.

You may want to do an apple cider vinegar rinse during this phase or lemon juice will work as well, or do both if you’re feeling crazy……lemon juice is less curl inducing. This is especially important in hard water areas. Simply dilute in water to the same ratio of orange squash…not that anybody probably drinks that crap but I’m sure you all know the recipe.

You’ll need to dry the bar out between cleans….our SUDS STUMPS are a perfick way to do this as they let your bar breathe…look after your suds and they’ll look after you.
