High quality but not Dana’s

I agree with most of the reviews here. I love my old Dana’s, that cinch in at a very high waist and have a lot of room for my hips and thighs, and these are not the same. I ordered a size up in the black, having read the reviews, but I was still faced with tightness around the hips and thighs and a loose waste band. I also believe the waist band sits lower than on the blue Dana’s. I love Lucy and Yak and own a stupid number of clothes from here but I am a bit confused as to why the change in cute was made when the old cut seemed so perfect and loved. It’s crazy that they even have the same name as the old Dana’s when the wearing experience feels so different. Hope this helps people!

We will pass all your feedback on to our team for you, we made some changes to our fit when we extended the sizing range in these. These are now a truer fit, as we had feedback on the older pairs that these were fitting a bit slouchier/bigger. If you need any help with sizing, our team is always happy to help.

Far too tight round the hips

I read the other reviews and thought I’d try them for myself. I have two pairs of Addison jeans but wanted black denim mom jeans. They were super tight around the thighs and bum- not what you’d expect from L&Y! Please bring the old fit back- it sounds like it was much better!!

Complete Opposite fit of Dana Mid Wash

I was so excited for these jeans, I had a pair of the Dana mid wash for a year and wore them through, and wanted to get another pair, and a pair in black, thinking that the black jeans would have the same fit and cut. They fit absolutely terribly. I have slightly curvy hips and a smaller waist, and the mid wash jeans fit perfectly, and were the first pair of jeans that fit so well. The washed black ones though were very tight on my thighs, and very loose on the waist. I would not recommend these AT ALL if you have a body shape that is similar to mine.

Sizing is small

I'm a size 14, pear shape, small waist but big thighs and bum! These wer so tight on the legs and bum, I could barely sit down in them, not loose at all but fitted ok around waist. Not a fan of the new fit! Good sturdy material though but just not roomy at all

Yes, finally jeans that fit!

I’m 5 ft 10 and have had a real nightmare finding jeans that fit me properly. After reading reviews I sized up and they are perfect, really comfy and I want to wear them all the time.
I’m very tempted to get a second pair.
