We Are Hairy People are amazing upcyclers, they hand paint animals, plants, leaves, mushrooms and may other amazing things on any piece of clothing. Why not send your old Yaks to them for an upgrade that you wont regret! Don't throw your Yaks away, make them feel like new again.

About WAHP

The hairy team is made up of freelance, individual artists who work according to our own individual physical and mental needs, but who try to be there for each other at a communal art studio. We are flexible in participation, in order for us to support each other alongside pursuing recovery and art.

We focus on using art, fashion and community, to live with mental and physical challenges together. This spans all aspects of humanity- with artists in our studio living with depression, anxiety/panic disorders, sexual abuse trauma, eating disorders, ASD, psychosis, mood disorders, physical disabilities, and various other labels and diagnoses, some of which are helpful, some that are just confusing and some that are stigmatising. These things can been seen as disorders or superpowers, that’s up to each individual human to chose what’s best for them.

We are especially keen to meet those who are looking to receive and give to a community, by being present a few times a week, at our studio in Bristol

Lucy & Yak offers fast worldwide shipping using Royal Mail, Deutsche Post or DHL, depending on the destination country. All orders sent via Deutsche Post and DHL are trackable via the couriers' website or mobile app. These can also be used for redirection/leave safe options. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday and any orders placed after 5pm on Friday UK time are picked and dispatched on the following Monday (excluding UK public holidays).
