New fit is not for me

The old fit in the Dana jeans was almost perfect for me, though the back rise was a little too high. Now, there isn't a size that fits me at all. I ordered my size according to the chart, and my old size (1 size down) & both gape at the waist *so much*. I can't size down any further than that, because the smaller size I ordered is already quite snug in the hip. I have a larger hip-to-waist ratio & usually go for "curvy" fits in other brands. There doesn't appear to be a L&Y fit that works for me now (I know Addison is designed for my body shape, but the rise on that one is too high).

Dana fit not for me

I LOVE this rainbow stripey pattern, but not the Dana fit. Every pair of jeans I have bought for years, from any brand, is the same size, but I measured my waist properly for these, and ordered accordingly—2 sizes up from all my other jeans. They fit okay, and are NOT too big around the waist, but the “waist” is really high. I always thought I was long in the body until buying these, but these are VERY high-waisted. They aren’t quite to where my bra sits, but nearly. Also, the complete lack of stretch is quite uncomfortable to me. I read the description, but bought them anyway, so I can’t blame Lucy & Yak. I just had to have them because of the pattern!

For more of a mid-rise option, we would recommend our 'Drew' jean. If it's more stretch you're after, there's always our 'Soho' jean to try.

Remove this from your site. They don't fit.

Please remove these from your site until you get the fit issue sorted out. I bought these before reading the reviews and I am devastated. I can't fit into them at all. It's like there is fabric missing from the front of the trousers which makes them tight across the front and impossible to zip up. I'm so disappointed. I rely on Lucy and Yack for the wonderful clothing you make and your great service, but this is just straight up BAD.

My trousers size with L&Y differs between styles so I bought these in a 32r and 34r. The 32r fits well in the waist but is too tight in the lower abdomen and hips. The 34r fits comfortably on the lower abdomen and hips but gapes at the waist. I'm going to keep the 34r and wear it with a belt. The fabric is really vibrant, soft, and comfortable. I love the rainbows!
