I bought these last year and forgot to post a review. I've just got them out from their winter hibernation and now enjoying wearing them again. The material is very nice and didn't crease much in storage: life's too short for ironing! As others have said they are a more fitted style, so I'd go up a size if you want them roomier. The shirring back panel is very comfy as you move about, and I found the cropped length just right. I may need to buy another pair if they bring out more colours / patterns for summer...
I looove these dungs, I have three pairs!
I sized up (twice, actually) as I preferred the fit a little better (big hips over here), and you can cinch the waist anyway.
I’ve found that after about a year they’ve started thinning/bobbling on the inside of the thigh, so I’m not sure if they’re going to last forever - but they’re patchable so I don’t mind.
I sized up and that was the perfect decision. I haven’t taken them off since they arrived. So comfy and stylish!
I ordered these in a 6 because that was the only size left. They are a squeeze to get on past my hips/ bum area. I'm so scared the stiches are going to break, and I don't have a very large bum at all! But once on, they are a lovely, comfortable fit. The material is nice and light, perfect for summer. If 8 was available, I probably would have sized up. They have a drawstring around the waist, so even if a bigger size you can still get a fitted look if that's what you prefer. I have a pair of Adele shorts that have the same elastic panel on them, and they loosened up after a couple hours wear, so I hope the same happens for my Emmy's. They are also a little tight across the chest (and I'm flat chested). If you are curvier (in any size) or between sizes I would definitely recommend sizing up! I just hope these don't shrink too much in the wash, or getting them on might be impossible >~< I'm also hoping these are released in new colours for summer too!!
I purchased the dark blue versions of these and I am soo happy with them, however I would love the light blue ones too which are unfortunately unavailable in my size. Preying they bring these back in all colours and sizes as I just want more.
