    Cute pants, not for big thighs

    The taper on these pants is not messing around. I purchased based off my measurements and it should have fit perfectly at the waist and loose at the hip, but I literally could not pull them all the way on because they didn't fit past my thighs! If you've got bigger legs for whatever reason, these are NOT for you. The color and material are super cute, though.

    In- between sizes

    I have original Dana's in the old sizing - they were definitely large for a size 24, but I could make them work with a belt. New Dana's are much smaller all over. I agree that they are more in line with sizing if compared to other brands across the board ( new L&Y size 24 is roughly the same as a 24 from another clothing brand). What makes the new sizing difficult is if you are in between sizes. I'm more of a size 25 waist, so 24 is much to small, but a 26 is too big. However, I do like the overall slimmer fit of the jeans. Even if unlikely, it would ne nice if L&Y consider in between (odd number) waist sizes e.g 25, 27, 29 etc... or alternatively add stretch into the material.
    However, I also have the new cord Dana's in a 24 which fit, so I am wondering why denim/ twill Dana's seem to be much smaller...

    Corduroy has a small amount of stretch in it so this may be why the cord Dana's work better for you then the twill/ denim.

    When I need to dress a little more professional

    New sizing is horrible

    In the past I’ve had difficulty finding mom jeans that are comfy and fit well so I was delighted when I discovered the Dana jeans. I have three pairs of them (all in different colours) in the old fit and they are my absolute favourite jeans, so so comfy. I was excited to see that more colours were added to the range and ordered the pink ones right away in the same size as my other pairs only to be mortified at how tight they were. I managed to get them up over my hips but there was absolutely no way I’d be able to zip them up and the proportions/fit seemed a bit off. Really disappointing

    Thanks for reviewing our Dana's! You'll likely need a different size in our New Fit Dana than your old fit Dana. They run much more true to size than before!     So nice, new favourites

    The sizing is a bit different than other Lucy & Yak pieces. I wear an W32 in the ziggy flares but in these the W34 fits me perfectly and the W36 is a more baggy fit. But they are so nice, got loads of compliments and the pink is even prettier in person!
