I love the print on these, and I wear mine with pride. Most people don't realise what the print is so I point it out 😁 its a talking point and should be an encouraged topic of conversation.
Print aside, I love the Alexas and have many pairs in different prints, they are comfy, fit well and I wear mine with sandals, boots and trainers. I bought a size medium regular in these, I'm 5ft 6ish, and wear a size 16 stretch bottom as I do not have a particularly small waist, but the stretch band on these fit me well.
When I first saw the print, it looked like a bunch of wine glasses with splashes of wine and teabags. It both confused and intrigued me. Upon closer inspection, I realized they were period products, which I thought were cute and hilarious!
I thought it would be made of a thicker material, but it feels like I'm wearing pajama bottoms. If I were to buy more pants from L&Y I may have to size down from a 12-14 to an 8-10. I still love them, and I still wear them out, I'll have to get used to how loose they feel.
I returned these as they were smaller than my other Alexa's, but otherwise they are lovely. Love the print.
Alexas are my favourite trouser style from L&Y because they are so slouchy and comfy. This print is absolutely beautiful. The colours work really well together and the pattern is so cool. I like how you don't really notice what the pattern is until you are up close. The material and fit is great as always.
I've always had a complicated relation with my period, and wearing this trousers around home or to start a conversation with someone who notice the pattern, is helping me heal the relation I have with my health and body.
It is so comfy and baggy, I love it. Thank you so much!
Wearing this normalize talking of periods!
