Beautiful Skirt

This skirt does run a bit big. I took the advice of previous posters and ordered a size down (usually a 14, ordered a 12). It fits perfectly. The material is a perfect weight for summer. The seams and hem are nicely finished and the skirt falls to my ankles. This was my first lucy and yak and I am very pleased.

Beautiful skirt

I love this skirt! It’s heavier than I expected and has pockets, which are a brilliant feature. I initially ordered a medium, but I had to return it because it was way too big. I’m a size 12, so I was glad to wait for a small to come back in stock. The small fits perfectly!

Flowy and nice material but

I must say, the design of the garment and the length of the skirt are really well tailored. Oh, and the pockets—yaaay! However, the construction of the fabric (a blend of linen and cotton) is somewhat questionable. If you zoom in on the photos of the skirt, you can see some loose threads and, in some cases, minor fraying.
All in all, it’s a pretty cute and versatile skirt. That said, I didn’t expect those issues—although, to be fair, there was a tag included with the package noting the delicate nature of the material.
