When are you restocking?
Most of our dungarees are handmade by our small team of tailors and we usually receive deliveries from India every 3-4 weeks. On the product page, you can sign up to receive an email notification when the item is back in stock.
Will limited editions be restocked?
Generally, our limited editions are stocked only the one time and aren’t part of our permanent collection.
Can I amend my order?
We're not able to make any amendments to orders, however if you contact us ASAP, we may be able to cancel full the order for you.
How can I tie the straps?

Which packaging do you use?
Each order is parcelled in a recycled drawstring sari bag and then sent in a biodegradable, plastic-free poly bag. Our drawstring bags are made from old sari's that were about to go into landfill. Some of them are silk, so if you are vegan and do not want one please let us know before hand.
How can I dispose of my biodegradable poly bag?
These can be disposed in a normal household bin. The packaging will degrade in landfill in around 12 to 24 months. Our bags are made from polythene and contain additives that act as catalysts to accelerate the degradation process.

Will you be making kid’s clothes?
We don't currently have plans to make any children’s clothes. We only work with a small team of tailors so are only able to keep up with our adult range at the moment. It could be something we'll consider in the future when the timing is right for us!

I bought something in Brighton, can I return online to your warehouse?
Yes, you can return to us for a refund. Just make a note of your receipt number, name and email address and put this inside your return parcel.
Will I get my shipping refunded if I return?
We will refund the standard delivery costs if you paid for delivery and return your full order. If you upgraded to 1st class or next day delivery, you will receive a refund for the £3.09 standard shipping.
Are returns free from outside the UK?
No, unfortunately we’re not able to cover the cost of returns outside of the UK.
Can I use more than one gift card at the same time?
Yes, you can use multiple gift cards, however these don’t work with other codes such as promos and discounts.
I haven’t received loyalty points for my recent purchase
We have a 40 day approval period on loyalty points for new purchases. This is to cover our 30 day returns period + delivery time. Your points will show as ‘pending’ on your account and can be used after the 40 days.
Do you offer work experience at Lucy and Yak?
We’re super busy at L&Y HQ so aren’t currently offering any work experience positions or internships.

We’re a small family here at L&Y and don’t hire very often. When we’re looking for new recruits, we will shout about it on our website and social media!
Do you offer student discount?
We don’t currently offer student discount online, however this is something we’re looking into introducing. If you visit us in our Brighton store, you can show your student ID card for 10% off.
Do you donate raffle prizes for charity events?
We receive a lot of requests for charity donations and are not always able to reply to all requests! Lucy & Chris are already working with a charity in India called Fior Di Loto. To contact us about a charity donation, please visit the PR and collaborations page.
