Key responsibilities :
- Put in measures to ensure a happy, productive and engaged workforce - across all sites
- Lead on all HR within the organisation, including policy, procedure, day to day management and strategy
- Train, develop and retain Lucy & Yak’s Talent
- Through a combination of direct sourcing and management of agencies, hire a best in class team across all business functions
Further responsibilities :
- People Operations: Develop our People Operations function by designing, developing and maintaining processes that keep Lucy & Yak winning
- Talent Attraction : make sure our Employer brand is as prominent as possible to attract and keep exceptional people
- Talent Development: Ensure that talent is given a path forwards, and succession plans are in place across all departments
- Partner with the Leadership team: Coach and mentor senior leadership, founder and direct reports as the company grows.
- Develop and define culture : Be the key driver on how to develop and define company culture as we scale
- Employee Engagement and wellbeing : Develop and implement strategies to ensure people are engaged, supported and looked after in all aspects of their employee journey - including mental health, social activities and internal brand building
- Promote and champion EDI initiatives across the business, ensuring our workforce is representative of our brand image and customer community.
- Ensure clarity of role remits across all teams, including one to ones, succession planning and individual KPIs
- Manage all compensation and reward across the business (in conjunction with the Finance Director)
- Keep up to date with trends, best practice and policy changes in relation to employment law
- Build a cross functional and collaborative workforce, who all pull in the same direction
- Be available for all staff for day to day HR issues
- Manage our ATS (Teamtailor) as well as employee benefits program (Perkbox)
- Organise and coordinate staff training - including workshops, management training and individualised training needs
- Develop and improve our onboarding process, ensuring that every new starter at Lucy & Yak gets the best experience possible
