Social Media Manager 

Lucy & Yak are hiring!!!! We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our growing team in Brighton.

This role will pay a key part in Lucy & Yak’s development across all social channels - we are looking for a superstar to help us on what has been an exciting 5 year journey so far!

Responsibilities 

  • Reporting to the Social Media Lead, you will be responsible for implementing Social Media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement - across IG, TikTok, FB, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest
  • You will manage the social media calendar, updating and scheduling content in collaboration with the wider Social Media and Creative Marketing teams
  • Supervise 2 Social Media Assistants, ensuring they are delivering content for the social calendar on time. 
  • Support in the production of ‘always on’ content to be used across social channels.
  • Support the Social Media Lead with analysing and reporting on all social data and statistics.
  • Help to create game-changing, innovative and exciting ideas to take the brand forwards on Social Media
  • Continually enhance, engage and grow our community online, both retaining customers and attracting new ones 
  • Support our Senior Copywriter with creating and refining copy for use on all channels

What are we looking for?

  • 2-3 years’ minimum experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in managing and developing social media channels (preferably from a fashion or e-commerce background)
  • Excellent understanding of Social Media and Ecommerce 
  • Deep understanding of Social Media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok/Reels, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest)
  • Strong understanding of brand and direct to consumer marketing 
  • Creative approach to content, brand engagement and community initiatives 
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and/or other Adobe Creative Apps for editing and resizing content
  • A creative eye to ensure all content is looking its best
  • Experience scheduling and publishing content across all social channels, plus the ability to interpret website traffic 
  • Ability to identify and track relevant social media and community KPIs

The fine print 

  • £25-28k annually
  • 4 day working week!
  • Based in Brighton (primarily office based)
