A slightly cropped length windbreaker jacket, made from super cool Sorona fabric - a high-performance fibre made from 37% renewable plant-based materials. It's soft and light but strong stain resistant.
Pullover style with a zip halfway down to the pouch pocket. Regular fit with a bungee cord + toggle at the bottom and elasticated cuffed sleeves. Super light and rolls up nice and small to be popped in your bag!
It's a first of it’s kind material - it's formed from 37% plant-based material (and therefore annually renewable) and the rest is polyester.
We have used it so that we can support companies working on fabrics like this, as this is the first of it’s kind to market, the more fabric companies realise that there's a market for sustainable fabrics, the better they will become. 37% plant based in performance wear doesn’t sound like a lot... but it’s a huge step in the right direction!
I hunted for the perfect rain jacket for absolutely ages, and this is definitely it. Perfectly cropped, slightly boxy and the hood fits over the bobbliest of bobble hats. I wear it everyday, without fail. It even fits over my baby sling (with the zip down so his little baby head pops out the top!). Perfection.
Love this jacket. Simple and light, and very good quality.
i absolutely love my new Ashton and I think I've worn it every day this year already! a great fit (bought a L, usual size 14), it feels great & the cut is v flattering. the only thing that's missing is a toggle on the hood - it's literally a windbreaker yet the hood falls down with the slightest of breezes! definitely a design flaw there.
Love that this coat is made with plant based materials! Looks and feels stunning - I enjoy the subtle logo on the sleeve.
I love the addition of the toggle at the hip!
Only thing I would change is a toggle on the hood too
Thanks so much I have been after a functional but stylish jacket like this for cycling and walking. I got size XL and it feels oversized on me at a UK 12-14 and perfect fur wearing layers underneath. The hood in particular is really super. I have not tried it in the rain yet but am very happy so far.
