A slightly cropped length windbreaker jacket, made from super cool Sorona fabric - a high-performance fibre made from 30% renewable plant-based materials. It's soft and light but strong, showerproof and stain resistant.
There's a hood to keep you dry on showery days, a pullover style with a zip halfway down to the pouch pocket. Regular fit with a bungee cord + toggle at the bottom and elasticated cuffed sleeves. Super light and rolls up nice and small to be popped in your bag!
It's a first of it’s kind material - it's formed from 30% plant-based material (and therefore annually renewable) and the rest is polyester.
We have used it so that we can support companies working on fabrics like this, as this is the first of it’s kind to market, the more fabric companies realise that there's a market for sustainable fabrics, the better they will become. 30% plant based in performance wear doesn’t sound like a lot... but it’s a huge step in the right direction!
'Ashton' Cropped Windbreaker Jacket in Black
So practical. I got the size small, usually a size 8 on top, so I could wear the fleece underneath. Love it
As a kid my dad once brought us Napapijri rain jumpers with a front pocket just like the Ashton's. I loved that piece to death (and sadly outgrew it). So I just had to try this one and I must say I love it already! I can layer up or down depending on the temperatures and it is waterproof to the degree I could build a snow friend outside (yes we already enjoyed the first snow of the season, thanks Switzerland) and not get soaked by the light snowfall. It also gives great shape to dungas and Addison trousers. I feel great and comfy!
Also not to mention the forward thinking and innovative material! Thanks for making fashion more sustainable and slow!❤️❤️❤️☃️
