Limited Edition print dungarees featuring a gorgeous all-over hand print by artist Myriam Van Neste.

The artist:
Currently based in Quebec City, Canada, Myriam formerly trained as a sculptor in Montreal, then Helsinki, Finland. Her practice now focuses on bold and joyful illustrations and surface pattern designs. She still loves to do everything by hand, so every project starts with scissors, colourful paper and a playful collage session.

The Fit

They're our classic, unisex dungaree cut - a generous fit with signature adjustable tie straps, 3 front pockets, roomy hips and a tapered leg, perfect for rolling up for a slouchy look. 

These come in our UK graded structure, but all equivalents are still the same as our previous sizes - see diagram in images - pop us a message if you have any questions!

Two leg lengths, "R" (Regular) and "L" (Long) which has two inches extra for those taller among us! (The bib is the same length on both.)

The Fabric

Printed on a wonderful mid-weight Organic Cotton twill with 2% elastane - the stretch is now back in all our patterned and Limited Edition dungarees going forward, based on your feedback!

Digitally printed with Oeko-Tex certified low impact dyes and made by Ismail and the Team in Northern India.


In order of appearance:
Lyza is a UK size 22, 5ft11 and wears a 22R

Xandice is a UK size L/XL, 5ft5, and wears an 18R for a baggy fit, they would also wear a 16R if they wanted a more fitted look

Scarlett is a UK size 8-10, 5ft1 and wears a 10R

Chloe is a UK size 8-10, 5ft7 and wears a 10R

Fits better than I expected

I love my dungarees and want to get them in another colour. I was initially sceptical about the fit thinking it could be really baggy and make me shapeless, but I'm positively surprised how well the product is designed and cut. I'm usually a size 10/12 and went for the 10R

Good present

I bought these for my partner and she loved them. Good fit and quality. At last some excellent cotton clothing ethically sourced and not rubbish from sweat shops in China.

Hips for daze!

I really wanted to love these out of the bag. The print was great, the fabric was too, and the company is based on ethical practices…but, when I put them on they looked like clown pants! Super over exaggerated in the hips and rear. I immediately turned them inside out grabbed a pair of overalls that fit well, and cut the excess off. I sewed up the sides, and finally they fit correctly.

Feel like a toddler, in a good way!

Love all of L&Y's dungarees, but these in particular make me feel so happy when I'm wearing them. They were a surprise pressie from my husband, and I wore them for nearly a week straight! Very comfy, such a fun print. Raised a few eyebrows from people when I walk about in them but they make me feel so cheery I just beam a big smile back!

really wide hips, sizing is definitely generous!

ordered based on the size chart but i definitely could’ve gone down one! there’s a lottt of room in the hips which causes a big gap but totally fixable - other than that i looove the print and overall fit! didn’t return since international returns are a bit of a fuss. love!!!
