We're so excited to introduce you to our beautiful Lucy & Yak scrubs!
Our wonderful team of seamstresses in Barnsley have been hard at work throughout lockdown making scrubs for lots of fabulous NHS workers, which we've been donating to various hospitals around the country (read more about that and how you can get involved with personal donations in our blog here!)
We had a huge number of messages asking if these would be available to buy individually, as many hospital staff have to purchase their own scrubs and uniforms, or your place of work was outside of the UK or not eligible to receive donations, and you wanted a piece of the L&Y scrub action! We wanted to make that happen and our team have halted production on our planned Made in Britain range to instead create 6 colours of scrubs, made right here in Yorkshire, UK.
The fabric we've used is NHS approved and is a 195gsm 65% polyester, 35% cotton (unfortunately there aren't any more sustainable options here) and are fully washable at 60 degrees - in Royal Blue, Navy, Forest Green, Emerald Green, Purple and Maroon. We're selling them as separates as feedback showed most people buy different sizes in each.
The trousers have a generous drawstring waist, two square back pockets, straight leg.
Matching top available here, with a roomy fit, generous short sleeves, V neck with two front pockets and side slits.
If you didn't know already, we offer a 20% NHS discount (details here!) At this time we're still only able to offer this to NHS email addresses.
Rufaro is a size 10 and wears a S
Jo and Rose are size 12 and wear size M

Really good product and fit. Everyone at work loves mine. Trying to convince work to use them as our supplier.
Does not suit the purpose I bought it for. I am a dog groomer and the material attracts the fur I’m afraid.
Thanks so much for your feedback on this! I'm sorry to hear that your scrubs top is collecting so much hair! Darker fabrics can be more prone to this than lighter and brighter colours, I find running a damp hand over the fabric to be effective at picking this up, I also find a lint roller to be super helpful if you haven't tried one already. As the fabric softens over time, it should become less prone to this. I hope you're able to still get some use from the top despite this!
