These were part of my first ever L&Y order. I’m not in the UK so I couldn’t get to a store to try them on in person and was very worried about the sizing. I’m very apple-shaped: I carry most of my weight on my stomach, I have a big waist with small hips and legs. The size chart puts my waist between an XL or 2XL and my hips between a M and L. I bought a medium and they’re very spacious everywhere. Next time I would like to try a petite M or maybe even an S. I didn’t think the shape would work on me as I usually prefer trousers that get wider on the leg to balance out my big belly but somehow they do.
I love the giant, uber-stretchy waistband, it’s super comfortable and prevents muffin-top. The colours and pattern are fun and the fabric feels very solid. And, the big spacious pockets are amazing! (It should be illegal to make trousers without pockets)
I’ve worn these a lot and washed them a few times and they’re holding up well.

Nice quality and shape, un fortunately 16/18 too small. 20/22 way too big.
