Rumi - Cargo Brushed Cotton Trousers in Khaki

Comfortable and cute

I was worried about the elasticated ankles as that sometimes annoys me, but they're not tight, just enough to keep the shape. They look soo good, really help emphasize my waist (and I'm not skinny). Super comfy. Waistband elastic isn't very tight so you can't carry anything heavy in your pockets without constantly hitching them up, some belt loops would have been nice, but it's a very minor issue.

Gorgeous but need to be at least 7 foot tall.

It's my own fault for dilly dallying in placing an order. Only large sizes left, that's okay, I'm fat. Trousers are absolutely gorgeous in pattern and feel, very large, could easily go down 3 or 4 sizes, but I'm handy with a needle. The biggest annoyance is designers thinking all fat people are 7 foot tall with a very long body. I can comfortably pull the trousers up to my arm pits and the crotch is still slightly low. Sadly it's not a case of just rolling the waist band over and stitching, it will need inchrs cut off the waist, which then affects the pockets and I'm not skilled enough to do pockets. I will keep them bevause I love the pattern so much, but I'm going to be paying £40 + for a seamstress to alter them.
L&Y, please bear in mind overall ength and proportions for fat people, not all of us are tall.

Perfect oversized fit

Thank you, Lucy & Yak team, for creating Rumi as an oversized fit. Now, those of us who are pregnant can still wear Yak clothes during maternity. I hope you keep these trousers and Miyada as oversized fit.
