This finally ticks all the boxes in a fleece for me! For a start, the hood! Lovely and big, but also lined so it won’t create frizz. The pockets are huge (all the way to the hem and zip) so they fit my stuff AND my hands.
The pink and blue is not as saturated as the website photos, I’d say the colours are rose and denim so not too in your face.
The lining is soft and much nicer than bare fleece backing, especially when wearing a tshirt underneath.
The length is far preferable for me than the Harper or Stevie fleeces which sit below my bum. This is at my hip crease but it also folds under neatly to sit more cropped without loads of bulk. It stays in place so no breeze up the back. I’m 5’3” and a size 10 and got XS which is perfect, I’d say XS is ideal for 8-10 but would also fit a less busty 12. The sleeves come to the base of my thumb when my arms are stretched so it may feel a little short in the sleeve for tall people.
I struggle with temperature regulation and sensory issues and feel this gives me the versatility of adding a jumper underneath on colder days in winter, or wearing with a tshirt and unzipping on warmer days so I can see it being worn September to May. It’s also a perfect jumper/jacket hybrid so I’ll wear it indoors and out.
The versatility, multi-season suitability and the quality of details like the lining, pockets and good mean that it’s worth the price - I’ll get more wear out of it then my Paloma jacket by far. It’s also well priced in comparison to other brands that are known for their fleeces. I’ll definitely be buying the cream one, and will consider the green (after selling all the fleeces I no longer need!)
