Dana - Mom Denim Jeans in Mid Wash Blue

So i typically wear an 8 to 10 and bought that size in the tartin trousers but after reading the reviews i decided to size up and got my first size 12 pair of jeans. They are a little loose round my 28" waist but fine with a belt. the regular is a bit short on the ankles, i'm 5'8. I wish the long had been available for more length. They are nice jeans overall but def size up!

I was really looking forward to these pants, but unfortunately I'm disappointed. The pants have a strange fit—I wear a German size 42 and ordered a UK 14 here ( “regular” length), which should have been a good fit or possibly a wee too big. I can basically fit into them, but I can't get my hands into the pockets because they are so tight! The pants also feel too tight around the thighs, but I have far too much room at the waist, so the pants stick out at the back. The “regular” length was okay, but “petit” would probably have been better. Since I feel uncomfortable with the fit of the pants, I'm unfortunately returning them. Quality of the fabric felt fine, though!
I ordered a total of three pairs of pants (different models) and none of them fit properly – I'm afraid this will be my first and last online purchase from you. It's probably better to try things on in a store after all. :(

The sizing has really confused me for these - I used to be a 32R, so I ordered the same again. I then ordered the 34R but somehow these were also far too small, so I'll be re-ordering for a 36R and maybe even a 38..! This doesn't seem to bear any relation to my actual size - I'm mostly a UK 14 and sometimes a 16, and it's quite frustrating paying for P&P multiple times over to hopefully get the right size. They still feel like great quality, but be prepared for a battle!
