Simone - Cotton & Linen Jumpsuit in Maroon Deco Rose Check

This might just be my favourite purchase yet! I've only had it a week and already received so many compliments on it. It's very flattering on a curvy shape, super comfortable and lightweight - perfect for the summer - without being sheer/see-through. The print is gorgeous. Just a shame they don't come in petite - as a 5'1 gal, I had to take them up an inch or two. Otherwise just PERFECT.

I loved this as soon as I saw it on the website.
I knew this might be something that wouldn't suit me as I am a 34 jj.
But I went ahead and ordered it. As predicted the body was shorter than I would like. So the waist rides up, but it's not disastrous.
I just wish the body was an inch or 2 longer.
The material is super soft and light and flies beautifully.

I absolutely love this jumpsuit! The Walled Blooms print is beautiful, the brushed cotton is soft and substantial, and the quality is exactly what I've come to expect from Lucy & Yak. Their clothing always feels fun, unique, and well made.

My only issue (and it's been consistent across every Lucy & Yak piece I've ordered) is the fit. I'm 5'9", and I have a longer torso, so I had to order a size 22 even though I'm normally a size 18. The smaller sizes fit my width, but the torso was simply too short. The size 22 gives me the torso length I need, but then it's too large everywhere else.

Unfortunately, I had to take this jumpsuit to a seamstress to have the top and waist taken in and the pants hemmed so it would fit properly. I don't mind investing in tailoring because I genuinely love Lucy & Yak's designs, but I do wish the brand offered more options for different body proportions, especially longer torsos.

If you're tall or have a long torso, keep this in mind when ordering. Despite the extra tailoring, I'm still very happy with this jumpsuit and can't wait to wear it.
