Great quality, but sizing off

These are my second pair of Lucy and Yak dungarees, I have a tighter fitting pair so wanted something more flowy. I'm a UK 10 in trousers and wanted a fit similar to the model, so I ordered a size 10 to begin with as per the description. I fit into them, however, they were tight around my thighs and hips (I am a pear shape, so this isn't unusual). I got a 12 instead and although they are better, they still are tighter in this area and don't fall how they do on the model. I'm also 5'5" and I'd like them to be a little longer. Size 14 is out of stock so I'm going to keep the 12s as they look ok on me and hope they loosen a bit as I wear them, but they just weren't as expected! The material itself is great, a soft and light weight denim, and I love the colour.

These are wonderful the denim is a perfect weight. I sized down from a 12 (which I normally buy for Jenny dungarees) to a 10 and they are perfect.

Absolutely Wonderful!!

I have many different styles of dungarees but my very favourite are Jenny’s which are a perfect fit and style for me. However, I really wished I could get a similar wide-legged style with a full length leg. (Protection from pesky ticks on my long woodland dog-walks). Ali in denim is that style!!! I absolutely LOVE them. They fit like a dream and are the perfect length for me (I am 5ft 5”). I usually order a size 12 in Jenny’s but found that sizing down to a 10 in Ali was perfect for me. I would definitely recommend trying a size down for a perfect fit. The denim is the perfect weight for wearing in winter and summer. These Ali’s are literally a dream-come-true for me. So much so that I have purchased 4 pairs!! 🤭 Thanks so much Lucy & Yak!
