Returns & Exchanges


We hope you love your Yaks. But if for any reason you need to return something, don't worry, we've got your back. You've got 30 days from when your order arrives to send it back (*exclusions apply). If you're in the UK, you can even opt for an exchange or store credit instead.


To start your return, head over to our portal here and enter your order number and email address to get started. 

Good news - we’ve extended our returns period for the gifting season!

 Any items bought on or after 1st November 2025 can be returned until 31st January 2026.


UK Returns

Return postage costs £2.50 to send your item back for a full refund.

Postage is free if you'd rather have store credit or exchange your item - and you get 10% extra if you choose the option of store credit!

Your return will be processed within 48 hours of posting back to us, though it can take up to 10 working days during busy periods. If you haven't received your refund by then, get in touch with us.



International Returns

For international returns, the cost starts from €8.99EUR and is payable through our returns portal.

We are unable to provide exchanges for international orders.

It can sometimes take a little longer for international parcels to reach us, so if you haven't received your refund within 30 days please contact us with your order number and return tracking reference.



Store Returns

Items purchased in-store may not show any options for return as our portal won't have your full order details.

Please contact us with your order number and address details so we can amend your order and allow your return as usual!

Online orders can be returned in-store within 30 days - we’ll just need your order number at checkout.



Gift Returns

If you’re returning a gift, we’ll just need your order number to be entered into our portal - if you have any trouble getting hold of this, get in touch with us.


Need help with a faulty item or have a problem with your return?

For faulty items, please make sure to include your order number or receipt and a picture of the fault and we'd be happy to look into the issue for you!


If your refund needs to be adjusted because you used a discount code or voucher with your purchase, please send your order number and details of the code used.



Terms & Conditions

  • Our standard returns policy is 30 days from the date you received your order. This applies to both online and in-store purchases.
  • Refunds can only be processed to the original payment methods used to purchase. In the event a Gift Card is used to partially pay for an order, the gift card will be refunded in the first instance before any alternative payment methods are refunded.
  • Socks, tights, headscarves, headbands, scrunchies, briefs, bikini pants, boxer shorts, earrings, soaps, and Re:Yak packs are non-refundable. 
  • Your return may be rejected if items fail to be in a resaleable condition. Returned items need to be in original condition, unwashed, unworn, with no marks or dirt and with the original tags.
  • No shipping costs or customs charges can be refunded by Lucy & Yak. 
  • Any sale or imperfect items purchased in store are sold as seen and cannot be returned for a refund. These items can be exchanged in store, or Re:Yakked.
  • Sale items purchased on our website can be returned as usual.
  • We are not able to honour sale prices retrospectively. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  • 3 for 2 items can be returned individually but will be refunded based on the promotional price paid
  • Any Re:Yak or Preloved items purchased in store are sold as seen and cannot be returned.
  • For faulty items, please contact our Customer Happiness team within our 365 day quality guarantee to allow us to investigate.
