Sounds ridiculous right? It’s funny how we use words like this to avoid calling it what it is - a vulva - as if this word in itself has become taboo.

For a third time we’re pulling up a stool to talk about vulvas in all their varied forms - the pain, the pleasure and everything in-between. In the past we’ve covered a variation of topics from period positivity to vulva diversity. This year, we want to do our bit to normalise conversation & remove stigma surrounding vulvas and periods. Because let’s be honest, we don’t like talking about vulvas, about periods, about pain but the less we discuss these topics, the more taboo they become. So let’s talk about it.

Danica-Xanthé Lethbridge get ready for a week of honest conversations from sex educators, artists and our community (that’s you!) whilst we celebrate the launch of our latest Vulvarees designed in collaboration with artist Danica-Xanthé Lethbridge.

Vulvarees 3.0 launch 9.30am Friday 31st October, with 100% of our profits going to Endometriosis UK who believe that everyone with endometriosis in the UK has the right to appropriate, high quality treatment regardless of background, identity, location or circumstance.

In the past we’ve covered a variation of topics from period positivity to vulva diversity. This year we’re pulling up a stool to talk about vulvas in all their varied forms - the pain, the pleasure and everything in-between. We want to shine a light on the hidden pain that many people suffer, to help remove the taboo that persists around periods and pain - in particular, endometriosis, which affects around 1.5 million people in the UK alone. There is no known reason for it, there is no cure and it takes on average nine years to be diagnosed in the UK. For this year’s collection, we will be donating 100% of our profits to Endometriosis UK who believe that everyone with endometriosis in the UK has the right to appropriate, high quality treatment regardless of background, identity, location or circumstance.
