My first order from L&Y. I'm usually between size 26-28 elsewhere in bottoms and kept reading these run smaller unlike other items that often go the other way, so went with 28 and it was a mistake, they're much too big everywhere except around my thighs when sat down, which as I'm a wheelchair user a lot of the time is particularly important comfort wise. I'm 5ft5 and very pear shaped as key info. The waist is very loose and so high that it's up under my boobs, the bum area has a lot of excess fabric so it's all saggy (which is a rare experience for me with my big bum, hips, tum & thighs), the pockets stick out like sails a bit strangely and the legs are dragging on the floor even when I'm sat down with them hitched up to make my thighs more comfortable, the one area they hug... It feels like I'd need to start by going down 2 sizes in the waist and to reduce the overall excess fabric areas, but then I wouldn't be able to sit down easily because my legs wouldn't bend/thighs would be crushed... Admittedly I do have very chunky thighs and a short torso though, so keep this in mind. The Ashby barrel Leg ones fit my figure far better! So put simply, I guess this design simply isn't suited to me or those with my sort of shape. Thankfully there's a nice mix of styles on here it seems to suit different body shapes, heights, sizes etc and it helps when items have a wide variety of models showing that one item off for comparison!
