I am 5ft 5in tall and size 18, the first pair in 18 were a tad too tight in the waist. Returned and exchanged for the 18-20 in tall. Fit perfect and just the perfect length for a full length on me! And the exchange arrived very quickly! Thank you! Brilliant service!

I have been waiting for the velvet barrel leg to be in stock for weeks. When they came back, I ordered a 12 & 14 to ensure I can always have them in my life (weight fluctuations & other issues means I can struggle with sizing). I, therefore, paid £150 for two pairs of trousers. Positives - the material is warm, pockets deep & are velvet inside. Zip, button & metal clasps are secure. Elasticated back gives comfort throughout day though as my body is long the rise is a little short. Price point is a tad high for the quality of material (thickness) itself but I choose to gloss over this as I am yet to find velvet barrel leg trousers (like these) anywhere. Now time for the negative - something which is comical & frustrating in equal measure. The bobbling on the inside of the trousers. I cannot understand how or why but every step I take, every move I make - I am leaving behind a trail of fluff. Little green, fuzzy clouds mark the routes I travel. My new L&Y trousers - the Hansel & Gretel of clothing - washing hasn't improved the issue but the washing basket, machine & line certainly display the trousers signature calling card. The vacuum cleaner has never been out this much and I quickly learned to remove the troublesome trousers before hoovering or the activity becomes a never ending story. I am loathe to return, especially as I have washed & worn every day since each pair arrived but we will see what happens as time moves on. I'm certainly not about to commit any crimes in a velvet barrel leg - 'The Fuzz' would be onto me......and literally all over me!
I regret this being a 2 star rating, I am keeping both pairs, however the small green floof bunnies are something to keep in mind when wearing these bon pantalon.

I love everything about these trousers they feel comfortable on, flatter my curves and have lovely deep side seam pockets.

Haven’t worn them yet but they seem really comfy, the material is buttery soft and I can bend down with no issues, lol I bet will be my new favourite pair of jeans. Hopefully they will last as well :)

I love funky trousers despite being age 62. As soon as I spotted these I could not resist adding it to my collection. Beautiful fit. Very well made. Good quality fabric. Hoping to have them for a long time. They are so lovely I bought one for me and one for my daughter.

I followed the sizing guide before purchasing and I’m in the U.S. so I had to pay crazy high customs fees (not L&Y’s fault, just noting the added price point) and this is impossible to put on. I’m only 5’3 and it’s too short in the torso, way too tight in some areas and way too large in others. I don’t feel like the sizing guide matches this product at all.

I read the reviews, but hoped the 'problem' would have sorted itself out. But appears not. Bought 2 £50 vouchers as gifts, and no £10 voucher/s received. I've been checking my spam folder. I'm very nervous now that the vouchers I bought won't work. They're birthday gifts.

I am normally a uk size 8/10 but managed to get a size 6 as I’d tried an 8 on in store and thought a size down would improve both the fit and the volume. I was right and am looking forward to wearing it.

Very warm. And had a few faults as marked out in shop hence the sale price.
But you can't see them once jacket is on.
Had so many comments on how nice it is.

I purchased a top just 8 days before it went into the sale and contacted customer service to ask for a refund of the price difference. This was refused, despite the very short time frame. I explained that I’m a new mum, so going back to the store to return and repurchase the item is not practical or realistic for me at the moment, but no flexibility or goodwill was shown at all.

For a situation that could have been resolved easily, the response felt unsympathetic and unhelpful. Disappointing customer service and not the kind of experience I would expect.

Writing this review as the reason I bought these is someone else said it fit their curvy body. I’m a size 12 and have small waist and quite big bum. These jeans unfortunately fit mostly well but were absolutely gaping at the back, way too much to fix with a belt. For reference I do usually buy ‘curvy jeans’ Abercrombie Curve or Levi’s 501 Curve. So will have to revert to that. Shame as love the look of these! Hope this helps someone else, before buying and returning .

Delores are my favourite trouser style. My favourite are the winter garden and the original cotton with contract stitching. It’s really thick cotton and the high waist makes my ass look amazing.

I live in Montreal, Canada, and ordered these trousers as a gift for my spouse. She consistently wears either a US 8 or US 10 in pants, never a US 6 or US 12. So I chose a size M (UK 12 / US 8). Unfortunately, they are EXTREMELY large. When she tried them on, they literally fell off.

The most frustrating part isn’t just the inaccurate sizing, it’s the poor customer service that followed. When I reached out for an exchange or refund, I was told I could only receive a refund and that I need to pay an additional a $40 CAD return shipping fee after already paying $25 CAD fee to have them shipped to me. If I wanted to buy another pair in a different size to replace these, they would be charging me another $25 CAD in shipping costs. So I would be literally paying more for shipping than for the item it self.

After reading other reviews (which I wish I had done earlier, thats my mistake), it seems sizing issues are a recurring problem. I really expected better support and for the company to take some responsibility for their misleading size chart, like paying for the return shipping fee. The last advice I received from their team was to "try selling the pants on Facebook," which honestly felt quite disappointing.

If you’re considering buying from this brand, I strongly recommend contacting their customer service first and confirming sizing details. Hopefully, that might save you from a similar experience.

Nice colour and fit. Very comfortable and nice fabric.

The jeans are good quality, but trying to make sense of the sizing information was frustrating. Going off the description and the measurements provided in the size guide, it looked like I needed to size up. The size I ordered was 2cm bigger than the size guide measurements, making them 5cm too large overall instead of the 3cm I was expecting. They were falling off me. Also, the size guide says a long is 81.5cm but the jeans I received were 83.5cm and trailing on the floor. The returns portal didn't work for me, either, and I had to email customer services to sort out the return. I've ended up with a store credit and will have to hope I can get to a store to find something that fits properly, because I'm not ordering online again, and I wasn't willing to pay the return postage to get a refund, when it's not my fault the sizing information is wrong.

Reading the reviews, which overwhelming indicate that the sizing on these runs very small, I order a size up on the dana jeans I have in black that I believe must be 'old style' as I've had them ages. However, I'm having to exchange for a smaller sizer as they are too big - i.e. the sizing for w30 is exactly how it should be based on my old size w28 dana jeans and my own waist measurement. So I guess maybe just take the advice to size up with a pinch of salt, as this doesn't apply for everyone.

I love the print and the jumpsuit, but I followed the measurements chart (I payed attention to the cms, not to the sizing) and that was a big mistake. I thought the EU size was too big for me, but the measurements of the chart were similar to my measurements. It is waaaaay too big, and no seamstress can take care of it :(

If you have broader shoulders, getting in and out of it is a struggle. I'll keep mine but am going to add a zipper on the side so everytime I need to use a bathroom I don't get stuck for 15 minutes fighting for my life. Also I think the colors in the modeled photos aren't entirely accurate - it is closer to the one made of the garment alone.

Initially very pleased with the denim chuck, really comfortable and roomy.
However after wearing them for one day noticed that the stitching from the front (middle) down to the crutch area and up the back is already starting to give (and around the back pocket) Holding the trousers up to the light you can see several thin patches . Such a shame as I really like the style and comfort, but they obviously won't last long

These are lovely. Im 57 and suddenly ive gone all cool. Great style fit me lovely never thought id be a 16-18 petite. Im smirking right now. Love the Yaks.

I got a 12, fits perfect I’m 70kg, 168 cm with about 75 cm long torso (average size I’d say). Usually between size 10-12, there isn’t much room to raise my arms but I’d rather it fit more tightly around my bottom than be too baggy. If you have a long torso I’d would size up. Stretchy and comfortable, lots of compliments and love all the pockets! Colour is vivid (the koi fish). Defo recommend!
