Our super flattering Addison Jeans in colourful rainbow stripes! Made from thick, hardwearing denim weight 100% organic cotton and digitally printed in all the colours of the rainbow!
Super high-waist, with a thick sturdy waistband and two L&Y logo buttons for closure. Really roomy structured hips (these have been called the "magic trousers" by those with big hips and those without!) and a wide but tapered leg - long and perfect for rolling up. Two deep pockets, thick belt loops and a L&Y logo on the back.
The beautiful Addison silhouette is modelled on a lovely vintage pair of Jeans from Lucy's wardrobe. This means like most vintage pieces they do run a little small, we strongly advise using the measurements on our size guide when choosing which size to buy, please don't just go for your usual size, if in doubt size up.
The first number is the waist size, the second is the leg length, measured in inches. Some sizes are not yet available but will be in the future - sign up to back in stock emails to be notified when they're with us!
As a constant, 10% of the sale price of these will be donated to Nai Bhor Sanstha - a community-based organisation in Jaipur, Rajasthan (near where Ismail's factory is based) which has been working for the rights, development and social protection of the LGBTQIA+ community in India for the last 20 years.
They're led by Pushpa Mai, a transgender woman from Jaipur, who works teaching skills and giving training to those who've faced discrimination in the workplace, or who have been cut off from education or work. She's now planning to open a call centre to support them.
Throughout the pandemic they've distributed ration packs, hygiene kits and financial relief to some of the most vulnerable individuals over Rajasthan, who may otherwise receive no help. The work they're doing is so important and we're so pleased to be supporting them!

i just got these pants today and let me tell you these jeans are the most comfy jeans every!!! they fit perfectly 5 stars!!!!
The colour of these jeans is MAGICAL. I was scammed a while back trying to get a 2nd hand pair, so when these made a come-back I nearly died (or maybe I did for a brief moment, idk). I own 3 pairs of Addison’s 26” waist and love them all – but this pair. I tried them on but the design of them is more balloon-y? The crotch is longer (by quite a bit) in comparison to the other Addy’s I own and the 26” waist actually measures to 28.3” so I’m not sure if this pair were just measured incorrectly or labelled as a 26” on a 28” pair. The hips / butt / legs are also bigger than my other Addy’s by about 2”. I’ve tried to belt them but can’t make these work (I have a hideously disprop. pear-shaped bod and extremely low self esteem, so trying to make these work was a straight up nope)
I’ve just ordered them in a 24” in hopes they’ll be a nicer fit. I’d return these but I cut the tag off and already recycled the plastic sleeve it came in. I still have the tag so if returning this is possible I will do so? :’(
I really wish I could make these work because the fabric is so pretty but so much of the pattern of the jeans fits my body so strangely. If they weren't so pricey I would get them tailored, but $73 usd was already over my budget. I know it's partially my body-so I wouldn't feel justified giving a lower review- but I feel like this pattern is cut in a way that can't ONLY be me. I didn't think I had a short torso, but I guess I must because in order for the crotch area to fit comfortably the waistband would be over my bust, or if I leave the waistband at my waist the crotch hits more than halfway down my thighs. I'm 5'5, so not all that short either, (ordered a 30/30). I'm curvy and generally have a hard time finding jeans that fit my butt without too loose of a waist, so I expected the jeans to hug my butt, but the entire fit except the waist completely drowns me in fabric. I also sized down since I knew L&Y tend to be more oversized than I prefer - my waist is exactly 30" so according to the size chart I'd be a 32", but the waist was just barely not too big- so a 32" would've been far too large.
So disappointing since I'd been looking forward to buying these for a long time! :(
These are absolutely my favorite jeans. I wish they had back pockets, but even without them they're still worth 5 stars.
They're so comfortable, fit well on the waist and they're so long that I can roll them up without them becoming too short
Was a bit nervous to buy these as I wasn't sure I'd have the confidence to pull them off, but I'm so glad I did and I can't wait to wear them out and about!
I am 5'3 and a size 8-10 and bought the W28 L30. I have a relatively small waist and big thighs, so trouser shopping can be a nightmare (trousers I can get over my thighs and bum are frequently too baggy on my waist). Because the legs are so roomy, I have no problem getting them up and then they sit perfectly on my waist.
As a short girl, the very high waist is great as it gives the illusion of longer legs! The legs are obviously way too long but are fine rolled up and you could always get them tailored if you want them shorter.
